We truly get to know the client and deeply understand their business, their strategic plans, their key opportunities and challenges, how the role being hired ties in and the type of candidate that is needed to deliver the change required. We then provide appropriate challenge to the client where necessary. We then ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the role and candidate requirements before starting the search.
100+ hours research
We conduct extensive research into the clients’ market, relevant companies and prospective candidates within these companies. We conduct research into business deals in our clients market and prospective candidates involved with these companies. We take candidate recommendations from our extensive network of business leaders and investors. We review our extensive candidate network built over a decade.
100+ candidates considered
We spend considerable time strategising on how to present the opportunity to prospective candidates in a way that generates maximum interest and we give prospective candidates a level of detail about the business, role and opportunity that truly engages them. At the candidate assessment stage we get a level of detail from prospective candidates to truly assess and qualify whether they have the experience, skills and personal traits to excel in the role.
Shortlist within 3 weeks
We create a shortlist of the best candidates. We introduce our client to these individuals. We work with our client to ensure they run both a thorough and timely interview and assessment process that means they are able to fully assess all candidates fit and at the same time are positioning the opportunity to candidates in a way that is compelling. We manage a thorough feedback process ensuring any issues that may arise are dealt with promptly and that the client and candidates are closely aligned throughout.
Completion in 6 to 8 weeks
Once our client has identified their preferred candidate we manage a thorough and timely offer and acceptance process. Again we ensure any issues that may arise at this stage are dealt with promptly. Once we have helped the client secure their preferred candidate we ensure they put in place an appropriate onboarding process and that the candidate therefore transitions quickly into their new role and surroundings. We typically complete searches in 6 to 8 weeks.
Fair & results based fee structure
We work to a fair and largely results based fee structure as follows:
Executive search
25% of the preferred candidate base salary.
Made up of 2 payments. First payment is a retainer of £10,000 charged at the outset of the search. Second payment is the success fee, 25% less £10,000, charged on successful completion of the search.
Non-executive search
A flat £30,000 charge.
Made up of two payments. First payment is a retainer of £10,000 charged at the outset of the search. Second payment is a success fee of £20,000 charged on successful completion of the search.
