For a decade we have been a search partner clients have relied on to source, attract and recruit such leaders, leaders experienced in supporting ambitious growth businesses, leaders well suited to investor backed environments, leaders with the mindset necessary to achieve the right outcome.

Our Process:

We are a boutique search firm with the personal touch. Managing Partner, Danny Vanner, manages all searches from end to end including client consultation, candidate research, candidate engagement, candidate qualification, shortlisting, interview management and the offer and acceptance process. We operate with urgency, typically shortlisting within 3 weeks and completing searches within 8 – 10 weeks.

At the client consultation stage we learn all about our client, the business, strategic plans, key opportunities and challenges, how the role being hired ties in and the type of candidate that will be able to move the needle. We provide appropriate challenge where necessary and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on the role and candidate requirements.

At the candidate research stage we typically spend 100+ hours identifying those prospective candidates that fit into our clients ideal candidate set. We conduct extensive research into our clients market, relevant companies in the market and prospective candidates involved with these companies past and present, we conduct research into business deals in our clients market and relevant prospective candidates involved with these businesses past and present, we speak to our extensive network of Chairmen, CEOs and Investors in the space for their candidate recommendations and we review our extensive candidate network built over a decade.

At the candidate engagement and qualification stage we strategise on how to present the opportunity to generate maximum interest from the prospective candidates we have identified and then approach, thoroughly qualify and engage these prospective candidates.

We then introduce our client to the best suited individuals, arrange interviews, manage feedback and manage an efficient offer and acceptance process.

Fair & Simple Fee Structure:

We operate a fair, simple and largely results based fee structure. For permanent searches we charge a small retainer fee at the outset of the search, no fees in the middle of the search, and a success fee at the end of the search when we have helped our client secure the preferred candidate. For interim projects we simply charge a success fee when we have helped our client secure the preferred candidate.
